Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a child/stepchild/grandchild of a S&B employee with a minimum of 2 months of employment service with S&B Engineers and Constructors, Ltd, or one of its affiliates as of March 31, 2025
  • Other family members such as the spouse of an employee, step-grandchildren, etc. are not eligible to apply.
• Must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 hours for undergraduate students/9 hours for graduate students) for both fall/spring semesters unless in the last semester prior to graduation
  • High School Dual Enrollment students may apply if they plan to be enrolled in college full-time during the 2025-26 academic year.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 (unweighted) scale. 
  • Please review this guide for instructions on converting your GPA to a 4.0 scale. GPA should be rounded to two decimal points.
• Applicant entitled to utilize only one William A. Brookshire Foundation scholarship in any given semester (i.e. UH, LSU, Texas Tech University, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, etc.)

Award Information:

• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree: Up to $15,000
• Associate's Degree: Up to $5,500
• Students may reapply as long as they meet eligibility requirements
