The Rex Mosser Foundation Scholarship benefits employees and dependents of employees of Myrex Industries.

Requirements to Apply:

• Applicant must be an employee or child or grandchild of an employee at Myrex Industries
  • Current employee is defined as a full-time employee at the time of the application deadline date
• Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or equivalent, a previous high school graduate, a GED recipient, or a current college or trade school student
  • Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply
• Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted)
  • Students with an unweighted GPA of 2.49 or below are not eligible
  • If you are a graduating high school senior, please review this guide for instructions on converting your GPA to a 4.0 scale. GPA should be rounded to two decimal points.
• Both new applicants and previous recipients of the scholarship must complete this same online application.

About the Scholarship Award:

• Multiple scholarships awarded for the 2026-27 academic year. Award amount varies by college/degree type:
  • 4 year college/university, trade school, or graduate school: $9,000
  • 2 year college: $4,500
  • Students may reapply as long as they meet eligibility requirements
    
    
• What can this scholarship be used for?
  • The scholarship will be mailed directly to the student's college to be used towards tuition, required academic fees, and/or book expenses.
  • Scholarship funding cannot be distributed directly to the student. Funding cannot be used for room and board, rent, meal plans, parking passes, or other similar living expenses.
    
    
• Are there any requirements I must meet if I am selected as a scholarship recipient?
  • Recipients must attend an accredited university, community college, or trade school in the United States.
  • Recipients must enroll in the following hours for both the fall and spring semesters (or be enrolled full-time or part-time respectively according to your school if it is on a different system).
    • Minimum of 12 hours per semester for full-time students
    • Minimum of 6 hours per semester for employees
  • Recipients must submit college enrollment information online through GHCF Scholar the summer before the academic year begins. This information is required in order for the scholarship check to be mailed to the student's college. Instructions will be included in the student's award letter.
