Eligibility Criteria:

• Texas residents with a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis
• Must be a United States citizen
• Must attend a two or four-year school in Texas
• Undergraduate and graduate students eligible to apply

Award Information:

• Multiple awards annually of $5,000 each
• Renewable up to three (3) years after initial award, for a total of four (4) year of funding (totaling $20,000 in scholarships)
  • Renewals do not have to be consecutive; no time limit to claim additional years of funding

• Letter of medical verification from doctor
• Transcript (unofficial transcripts are accepted)
• Education information
• Resume (involvement in activities and service)

Renewal Students:

• Current recipients of the John Buller Scholarship who are planning to renew the scholarship for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year must complete several Renewal Tasks through this application. 
• How Do I Renew My Award? 
  • Please do not create a new application for the general scholarship. A Renewal Application will be created for you by the GHCF Scholarships Team. 
  • Keep an eye out for an email from GHCF Scholarships on February 24 with more instructions about renewing your award.
