Description


The Crown Castle Employee Scholarship benefits dependents of Crown Castle employees and current Crown Castle interns.

Requirements to Apply:

  • Must be a current intern of Crown Castle in good standing

                          - OR-

  • Must be a dependent child of a Crown Castle employee
    • Employee must have one year of employment as of the application deadline
    • Employee must be in good standing
    • Applicant must be a legal dependent as defined by the Crown Castle benefits plan
    • Dependents of Vice Presidents and above are ineligible
    • Employee must be active or deceased (while in service to Crown Castle)
  • Must be seeking a bachelor’s degree. The scholarship may not be used towards an associate degree or at a 2-year college.
  • Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted). 
    • Students with an unweighted GPA of 2.74 or below are not eligible.
    • If you are a graduating high school senior, please review this guide for instructions on converting your GPA to a 4.0 scale. GPA should be rounded to two decimal points.
  • Both new applicants and previous recipients of the scholarship must complete this same online application.

About the Scholarship Award:

  • This scholarship is for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year.

  • Award Amount
    • Three (3) scholarships awarded annually
    • $10,000 divided evenly between the fall and spring semesters
    • Recipients may reapply for up to 3 consecutive years.

  • What can this scholarship be used for?
    • The scholarship will be mailed directly to the student's college to be used towards tuition, required academic fees, and/or book expenses.
    • Scholarship funding cannot be distributed directly to the student. Funding cannot be used for room and board, rent, meal plans, parking passes, or other similar living expenses.

  • Are there any requirements I must meet if I am selected as a scholarship recipient?
    • Recipients must attend an accredited university or college in the United States and pursue a bachelor's degree during the 2026-27 academic year.
    • Recipients must enroll in at least 12 credit hours for both the fall and spring semesters (or be enrolled full-time according to your school if it is on a different system).
    • Recipients must submit college enrollment information online through GHCF Scholar the summer before the academic year begins. This information is required in order for the scholarship check to be mailed to the student's college. Instructions will be included in the student's award letter.

What Is Needed for This Application?

  • Eligibility questions based on the criteria listed above
  • Crown Castle Employee or Crown Castle Intern information
  • One (1) essay
  • Two (2) recommendation forms completed online. The recommender cannot be a family member.
  • Transcript (unofficial transcripts are accepted)
  • Education information
  • Resume (community service)
