
The Camillo Family Scholarship was created to provide dependents of employees of Camillo Companies (Camillo Holdings, LCI Services, Legend Homes, Millmark Capital, and SimplyHome) with scholarships to further their education.
Requirements to Apply:
- Must be a child of a current employee of Camillo Companies (Camillo Holdings, LCI Services, Legend Homes, Millmark Capital, and SimplyHome)
- Current employee is defined as full-time with a minimum of 1 year of employment at the time of the application deadline
- Employee must be in good standing. Good standing is defined as (1) most recent performance rating must be equal to “Successful Performer” or higher; and (2) with no disciplinary actions within six (6) months prior to the application deadline.
- Must be a graduating high school senior or current college or trade school student. The scholarship may not be used for graduate degrees
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 (unweighted) scale.
- Applicants with an unweighted GPA of 2.49 or below are not eligible.

GPA should be rounded to two decimal points.

Renewal Students:
- Current recipients of the Camillo Family Scholarship who are planning to renew the scholarship for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year must complete several Renewal Tasks through this application.
- How Do I Renew My Award?
- Please do not create a new application for the general scholarship. A Renewal Application will be created for you by the GHCF Scholarships Team.
- Keep an eye out for an email from GHCF Scholarships on February 25 with more instructions about renewing your award.
About the Scholarship Award:
This is a renewable scholarship, meaning recipients can renew the award and claim up to 4 years of funding if they meet the GPA and enrollment requirements and complete the renewal application for each academic year they plan to be enrolled.
- Multiple scholarships awarded for the 2026-27 academic year. Award amount varies by college/degree type:
- 4-Year College/University - The scholarship is comprised of up to four annual awards of $5,000, for a total award of up to $20,000. The four annual awards may be received over a period of up to five years.
- 2-Year College/Trade School - The scholarship award is comprised of up to two annual awards of $2,500, for a total award of up to $5,000. The two annual awards may be received over a period of up to three years.
- What can the scholarship be used for?
- The scholarship will be mailed directly to the student's college to be used towards tuition, required academic fees, and/or book expenses.
- Scholarship funding cannot be distributed directly to the student. Funding cannot be used for room and board, rent, meal plans, parking passes, or other similar living expenses.
- The scholarship may not be used for graduate degrees.
- Are there any requirements I must meet if I'm selected as a scholarship recipient?
- Recipients must plan to enter an accredited four-year college on a full-time basis.
- Recipients must enroll in at least 12 credit hours for both the fall and spring semesters (or be enrolled full-time according to your school if it is on a different system).
- Recipients must submit college enrollment information online through GHCF Scholar the summer before the academic year begins. This information is required in order for the scholarship check to be mailed to the student's college. Instructions will be included in the student's award letter.
- Recipients must meet certain criteria in order to receive subsequent annual awards (i.e., renewals): maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester, and complete the renewal application for each academic year they planned to be enrolled.
- Recipients must plan to enter an accredited four-year college on a full-time basis.

- Upload a copy of your Estimated Student Aid Index (SAI) that you will receive after submitting your FAFSA application. If you have not completed the FAFSA yet or received your Estimated SAI, you will use the Federal Student Aid Estimator included within the application.
- Two (2) essays
- Transcript to confirm your GPA (unofficial transcripts are accepted)
- Education information
- Resume Form (involvement in school activities, community service, and employment)
