Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a graduating senior from Coldspring-Oakhurst High School (Coldspring, TX)
• Must be in the top 50% of graduating class
• Must have at least a 3.5 average GPA in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses (minimum of 4 courses)
• Must plan to attend an accredited technical, trade, or vocational institution, OR pursue a technical, trade, or certification program at an accredited community college.
• Students pursuing a general associate degree at a community college and/or planning to transfer to a 4-year college are not considered eligible for this award.

Award Information:

• Award amount: $5,000
• Must enroll in 12 credit hours per semester (full-time)
• Renewable for one year after initial award (2 years of funding total)

Renewal Students:

• Current recipients of the Anderson Family Scholarship who are planning to renew the scholarship for the upcoming 2025-26 academic year must complete several Renewal Tasks through this application. 
• How Do I Renew My Award? 
  • Please do not create a new application for the general scholarship. A Renewal Application will be created for you by the GHCF Scholarships Team. 
  • Keep an eye out for an email from GHCF Scholarships on February 24 with more instructions about renewing your award.
