Description
Eligibility Criteria:
- The following students are eligible to apply:
- Class of 2025 graduates of Eight Million Stories or Liberty High School (Houston, TX)
- Previous Always Do Good Scholarship recipients who are still pursuing an undergraduate degree or certificate
- 2022 and 2023 recipients must have claimed all 4 semesters of funding
- Minimum cumulative GPA to apply: 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted)
- Must plan to attend an accredited public college, university, community college, junior college, or trade school in the state of Texas
Award Information:
- Multiple scholarships awarded annually
- Award amount varies by college/degree type:
- 4-year degree: $12,000
- 2-year degree or certificate program: $4,000
- Scholarship awards may be used for tuition, fees, and books or required equipment
- Must enroll at least part-time (6 credit hours)
- Students may reapply for additional years of funding
