Description

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The following students are eligible to apply:
    • Class of 2025 graduates of Eight Million Stories or Liberty High School (Houston, TX)
    • Previous Always Do Good Scholarship recipients who are still pursuing an undergraduate degree or certificate
      • 2022 and 2023 recipients must have claimed all 4 semesters of funding
  • Minimum cumulative GPA to apply: 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted)
  • Must plan to attend an accredited public college, university, community college, junior college, or trade school in the state of Texas

Award Information:

  • Multiple scholarships awarded annually
  • Award amount varies by college/degree type:
    • 4-year degree: $12,000
    • 2-year degree or certificate program: $4,000
  • Scholarship awards may be used for tuition, fees, and books or required equipment
  • Must enroll at least part-time (6 credit hours)
  • Students may reapply for additional years of funding
