Description
Eligibility Requirements:
- Currently enrolled at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston or the University of Houston - Clear Lake
- Minimum cumulative GPA to apply: 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Currently pursuing a bachelor, graduate, or doctoral degree in the industrial hygiene program or with an emphasis or concentration in industrial hygiene
- Planning to enroll for the fall 2025 semester
Award Information:
- One (1) award of $4,000 for the fall 2025 semester
- Must be enrolled either full-time or part-time
- Students may reapply and are eligible to receive the scholarship a maximum of two times throughout their educational career
- Award recipients will be invited to give a 10-15 minute oral presentation either on their thesis or dissertation topic or an industrial hygiene related topic of interest, within a year of the announcement of the award, at one of the regularly scheduled GCS-AIHA meetings (usually held on the first Thursday of most months from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.).
