Eligibility Criteria:

• Undergraduate or graduate students
• Must attend a four-year college or university in Texas
• Must be an elementary education major
• Must be a United States citizen
• Minimum cumulative GPA to apply: 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted)

Award Information:

• Multiple awards of $4,000 each
• One-time award; students may reapply annually as long as eligible
• Enrollment requirements:
  • Undergraduate students - Must enroll in 12 hours in both the fall and spring semesters, unless student teaching
  • Graduate students - Must enroll in 9 hours in both the fall and spring semesters, unless student teaching
